Mid Block Development is excited to announce that it plans to move forward with its apartment unit development on the second floor of the Grants building as Phase I of its plans for both the former Grants and Kresges locations. These plans were submitted to the City several months before the recent fire that consumed the former Kresges building.

Phase II of the plan calls for a mixed use development to include retail along Chapel Street with an office component above and apartments or condominiums on the upper floors.

Additionally, Mid Block Development, working with adjacent property owners, had introduced a Comprehensive Corridor Improvement Plan to improve beautify and modernize the 2 blocks on Chapel between State and Church Streets.
